I am so excited to share the fabulous pieces I found at Dance Africa which is an annual celebration of Africa held at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music (BAM). It’s been years since I have attended but decided it was time to introduce my daughter to more of our heritage. The dancers this year were from Senegal and it was mesmerizing. The speed, agility and strength left me speechless. Sorry, I did not record any of the dancing because it is very disrespectful to others with that glaring light but here are a few pics from today!!!
